With the new Front
End, we want to relocate more responsibility to the regions and respond even
faster to our customers’ requirements. Agility is the new currency in the
business world. Our customers expect shorter response times, and the
coronavirus pandemic has only reinforced this. It means that we can no longer
fly in service or sales teams from Europe, as they will have to go into
quarantine before anything else. Final contract negotiations in Asia or South
America cannot wait for Europe. We need the right expertise on the spot. We
need more generalists around the world in order to respond faster. At the same
time, intensive cooperation between the regions and the specialists for the
segments based in Denmark, Germany and Switzerland is a crucial success factor.
The new Front End organization lays the foundation for this approach.
