With its Modular Hydrogen Platform, H-TEC SYSTEMS offers a scalable system for industrial production of green hydrogen. The standardized blocks each have an electrolysis output of 10 MW and can be combined in systems of 100 MW or more. H-TEC SYSTEMS unveiled this system, which is aimed primarily at customers requiring hydrogen production on an industrial scale, in 2023. This gave H-TEC SYSTEMS a strong position in the extremely dynamic hydrogen market and raised its profile enormously. Following on from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Denmark, the company has now sold its first systems in Spain and the Netherlands too. The expansion of its sales network to cover the whole of Europe underlines its ambition of winning further market shares. Salespeople are now on the ground in Spain, France, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden in addition to the main sites in Germany. What is more, the company is going to enter the US market in 2024 and plans to open a branch in Houston, Texas. H-TEC SYSTEMS also wants to continue growing in Europe. One hundred and eighty new employees have found a professional home at the Augsburg and Braak sites in the past year. The highlight for 2024 will be opening the new Stack Manufacturing and Development Center in Hamburg-Rahlstedt. Building work got under way in March 2023, with the first automated production plant being installed and tested in December. The highly automated production of PEM stacks is scheduled to start this year and the workforce will move to the new site in mid-2024.
