What form of transportation do you use and why?
I use an electric bike leased by the city.
How far do you commute?
Only about 2 kilometers.
Are there any interesting sights along the way?
I ride along the sea, which is a really relaxing and peaceful moment. Then, I’m lucky enough to ride close to the Saint-Nazaire submarine base, which is an emblematic monument of the town.
Any activities on the commute?
I listen to music or podcasts. That makes me feel happy, and I am in a good mood for the rest of the day.
Bus is best
What form of transportation do you use and why?
I primarily use bus for my daily commute, because it helps with one less car on the road and reduces my carbon footprint.
How far do you commute?
It is approximately 10 kilometers each way for me.
Are there any interesting sights along the way?
Highrise office buildings with beautiful architecture. The trip allows me to observe the business of the mornings and observe different people, different ethnicities from different walks of life approaching their day.
Any activities on the commute?
Travelling by bus allows me to have some quiet time to listen to inspiring personal development podcast or an audiobook.

Carpooling with colleagues
What form of transportation do you use and why?
Most of my colleagues and I use a work van to commute. It is quite convenient, since it saves me a lot of time. It’s also very comfortable.
How far do you commute?
I walk about a kilometer to the pickup point and the distance to the workplace is roughly 15 kilometers.
Are there any interesting sights along the way?
There’s a seasonal river that we cross each day. Chances of it breaking bank are usually high during the wet seasons. Also, in the late evenings you might catch a glimpse of hyenas or antelopes crossing the road.
Any activities on the commute?
My colleagues and I usually have interesting topics of conversation and occasionally stop for refreshments at our favorite hangout on the way home. It’s never a dull time in our van.
Metro beats rush hour
What form of transportation do you use and why?
I bike or walk to the metro station, because it’s convenient and there are no traffic jams. I get a bit of exercise and address environmental concerns.
How far do you commute?
10 Kilometers each way
Are there any interesting sights along the way?
In the metro you can meet a variety of themes such as Sci-fi themes, themes that promote reading, and some themes about urban advocacy.
Any activities on the commute?
I listen to music or audiobooks and talk to family or friends.
